The Company was notified today that on 28 March 2014, Mr Michael Thomas, a Non-Executive Director of Polar Capital, purchased 4,000 ordinary shares of 2.5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 490.875p per share.

Following this transaction Mr Thomas is interested in 4,000 Ordinary Shares representing less than 0.01% of the Company's issued share capital.
