Voting Rights and Share Capital

In conformity with the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules (DTR 5.6.1 R) Petropavlovsk PLC ('Petropavlovsk' or the 'Company') is required to notify the market of the following:

As at 31 July 2013 the issued share capital of Petropavlovsk consisted of 197,638,425 ordinary shares, with a nominal value of 1 pence each, with voting rights. Petropavlovsk does not hold any ordinary shares in Treasury; therefore, the total number of voting rights in Petropavlovsk is 197,638,425.

The above figure of 197,638,425 shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in Petropavlovsk under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
