AGM Statement

Penna Consulting plc will hold its annual general meeting later today, 23rd September 2010.

At the meeting the Chairman, Mr Stephen Rowlinson, will make the following statement:

"We are about to complete the first half of our financial year and the Company continues to perform in line with market expectations. Public sector spending remains constrained especially in respect of recruitment; we are however seeing encouraging developments in respect of local government utilisation of outplacement and restructuring services.

Activity across the private sector remains subdued given the economic uncertainty. Recruitment remains challenging but the strength of our Career Transition business ensures that we have a well balanced business within the HR services sector."
