Exercise of Options

The Company announces that on 29 May 2012 nine employees of the Group exercised options under The Portmeirion 2002 Share Option Scheme to subscribe for a total of 33,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares").
Accordingly, 33,000 new Ordinary Shares will be issued. The total number of Ordinary Shares now held by the Company in treasury is 412,518. The Company has 10,785,174 Ordinary Shares in issue and 10,372,656 Ordinary Shares with voting rights following this notification.
Application has been made for 33,000 Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and trading of these shares is expected to commence on or around 7 June 2012.
