ILX Group PLC03 January 2007 For immediate release 3 January 2007 ILX Group plc Board Appointment ILX Group, the AIM quoted vocational education and training specialist, todayannounces the appointment of Mr. Paul Virik, aged 57, as a non executivedirector of ILX Group plc with immediate effect. Mr. Virik brings with him a wealth of experience spanning over 30 years leadinga broad range of professional and business to business publishing operationsacross Reed Elsevier in the UK and US. His experience spans magazine publishing, conferences, exhibitions, directoriesand major internet developments. He has led operations across diverse marketsincluding IT, Agriculture, Aviation, Social Work, Legal, Electronics,Hospitality, Human Resources, and Construction. His focus has always been onlong term sustainable market leadership through teamwork, innovation andcustomer focus. Mr Virik was Managing Director of Reed Business Publishing, CEO of OAG, and CEOof Butterworths legal publishing until leaving in 2003 to fulfil sailing andtravelling ambitions. There are no other details to be disclosed of directorships held by Mr. Virik inany other company at any time in the previous five years.
