Update Re Michael Clarke appointment
Further to its announcement of 14 July confirming the appointment of Michael Clarke as Chief Executive, Premier Foods is pleased to announce that Mike will take up his appointment on Tuesday 16 August 2011.
Ronnie Bell, Chairman, said
"We are delighted that Mike is able to join Premier Foods two weeks earlier than originally envisaged. I know that he is eager to get into the business and start work and we look forward to his arrival. Mike's great skill in managing and growing brands is a critical strength to a business like ours, particularly given the challenges of the current trading environment."
As previously announced Robert Schofield, the current CEO, is retiring from the Company and will leave the business following a short handover.
