Petrofac Limited06 January 2006 PETROFAC LIMITED ("Petrofac") PETROFAC SECURES CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT CONTRACT FOR KASHAGAN ONSHORE FACILITIES Petrofac, the international oil and gas facilities service provider, has beenawarded a contract for the construction management of the onshore facilities ofthe first phase of the Kashagan development, located at 40 km north east ofAtyrau, Kazakhstan. The contract scope includes the main works contract (oil, gas and sulphurprocessing units), power generation and utilities, tanks and offsite facilities,industrial buildings, initial civil works and pipe rack erection contracts. Theclient is Agip KC0 (acting on behalf of a consortium of international companiesincluding Eni, KazMunayGaz, ExxonMobil Kazakhstan Inc., Shell, Total,ConocoPhillips and INPEX).
