Directorate change
Petards Group plc ("Petards" or "the Company"), announces that for personal reasons Bill Conn will relinquish his duties as Chief Executive on 31 December 2011.
From that date the Company will continue to benefit from Bill's experience as he will remain on the board as a non executive director. Bill joined the Board in February 2005 and was appointed Chief Executive in June 2006.
An announcement concerning Bill's successor will be made in due course.
Tim Wightman, chairman, said "On behalf of the board I would like to thank Bill for his dedication and contribution over five years as CEO in reducing the cost base and successfully focusing the Company on its security products within the rail transport, defence and security markets. We are pleased that he will continue to contribute to the Company's success in a non-executive capacity."
