Petards Group PLC27 July 2006 Petards Group plc ("Petards" or "the Company") AGM Statement & Trading Update Grant of options to Directors Petards, the AIM listed developer of advanced surveillance systems, announcesthat at its Annual General Meeting held today all resolutions laid before themeeting were duly passed. In his statement to shareholders, Tim Wightman, Chairman of Petards, said: "As I indicated in June, while the Group will report a loss in the first half ofthe current year, the performance of EIMC's business acquired in March isencouraging, and the Group is presently trading in line with market expectationsfor the full year." In addition, the Company announces that the following grants of options over newordinary shares in the Company under its Enterprise Management Incentive and2001 Unapproved Share Option Plans were made on 27 July 2006 to the directors ofPetards listed below.
