Smith as a Non-Executive Director, who will join theboard of the Company (the "Board") with immediate effect. Rowan is a qualified geologist with significant mining and business expertiseand experience. He has spent over 20 years in the minerals and investmentbanking industries in Africa. Most recently Rowan was Managing Director of Shanduka Resources, which he wasinvolved with since its inception in 2002. His experience also includesgeological valuation work for Rand Mines, seven years with Société Générale deSurveillance, and four years as a Director of Investec Bank's Resource FinanceDivision.
