Oxus Gold PLC03 July 2007 Oxus Gold plc OXUS PAYS DIVIDEND AGF EXPORTS FIRST SILVER LONDON: 3 July 2007 - Oxus Gold plc ("Oxus" or the "Company") (OXS.L) is pleasedto confirm that the KazakhGold global depository receipts ("GDRs") which are tobe distributed to the Company's shareholders by way of a dividend in specie weretransferred by the Company into the CREST system on 2 July 2007. The GDRs areexpected to settle within CREST on or around 6 July 2007. The dividend represents one KazakhGold GDR for every 110 Oxus shares held at therecord date of Friday 22 June 2007, the date the Company's shares also wentex-dividend. Shareholders who have not yet notified the Company's registrars oftheir CREST details will not have been included in this first distribution.Further distributions will be undertaken on a monthly basis as such details areprovided to the registrars. Oxus is also pleased to confirm that, following receipt of export approval fromthe Uzbek Government, Amantaytau Goldfields exported its first silver bullion on30 June 2007. A total of 44,038 ounces of silver bullion was shipped to Londonand sold for $553,998. A further 437,539 ounces of silver in dore form iscurrently being refined in Uzbekistan, or waiting to be refined into bullion.
