On the Beach Group plc (LSE: OTB.L), a leading UK online retailer for beach holidays, announces that Hawksford Trustees Jersey Limited (as trustees of the Sule Cooper 2014 Settlement), a PCA of Simon Cooper (Founder and Chief Executive Officer of On the Beach Group plc), notified the Company on 19 August that he had purchased 1,530,141 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at price of 129.54 pence per Ordinary Share (£1.98m in aggregate).
Following this purchase, Simon Cooper, will have an interest in 9,379,744 Ordinary Shares, representing 5.64% of the issued share capital of the Company, as outlined below.
