DIRECTOR'S DEALING
Pennington, NJ - October 6, 2010 -- Ocean Power Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: OPTT and London Stock Exchange AIM: OPT) ("OPT" or the "Company") announces that it received notification on October 4 and October 5, 2010 that Dr. George W. Taylor, Executive Chairman and Director of OPT, had sold, on October 4 and October 5, 2010, a total of 22,800 shares of common stock at prices ranging from US$5.20 per share to US$5.55 per share.
Following this sale Dr. Taylor holds 683,001 shares, representing 6.6% of the Company's issued share capital.
