DIRECTOR'S DEALING
Pennington, NJ - October 19, 2009 -- Ocean Power Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: OPTT and London Stock Exchange AIM: OPT) ("OPT" or the "Company") announces that it received notification on October 15 and October 16, 2009 that Dr. George W. Taylor, Executive Chairman and Director of OPT, had sold, on October 15 and October 16, 2009, a total of 50,000 shares of common stock at prices ranging from US$7.60 per share to US$9.25 per share.
Following this sale Dr. Taylor holds 699,801 shares, representing 6.9% of the Company's issued share capital.
