Origo Partners Appoints New Non-Executive Director
Origo Partners Plc ("Origo" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Preststulen as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.
Mr Preststulen, 65, has more than 30 years experience as an investor and executive across the natural resources, clean technology, agriculture and logistics sectors around the world. He is currently a Managing Partner at Elkem AS, one of the world's leading producers of industrial materials such as silicon, alloys, carbon and microsilica.
Mr Preststulen has extensive knowledge of working in China and holds a number of directorships with businesses in the Asia Pacific region including Gaia Mariculture Pte Ltd, Euro Nordic Logistics BV, Masterbulk Pte Ltd, Temasys Communications Pte Ltd and the Greenship Group.
Mr Preststulen is also owner and Chairman of Preco AS Norway, an investment company established in 1978, active in international shipping and logistics, mining, communication, aquaculture and real estate.
Mr Preststulen holds an MBA from the North European Management Institute.
