Board Change

Further to the announcement on 3 May 2022, OPG Power Ventures plc (AIM: OPG), the developer and operator of power generation assets in India, is pleased to announce the Board appointment of Ajit Pratap Singh as Chief Financial Officer, with immediate effect. Mr Singh has been a director of a number of the Company's subsidiaries, including as an Executive Director of OPG Power Generation Private Ltd, the Chennai subsidiary of OPG, since February 2019.

Mr Singh is a management and finance professional with over 24 years of corporate finance, accounting, M&A, commercial and investors relations experience, working primarily with large publicly listed conglomerates in India including JSW, Vedanta, Jaypee and Lohia Group.

He is a Fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, a Fellow member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (FCMA), a Law Graduate, a Master of Science (Finance), a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a Certified Management Accountant (CMA - USA), a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy in the UK and a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments in the UK.

The Company's current CFO Mr Dmitri Tsvetkov is stepping down and retiring from the Board with effect from today and will support the Company with the finalisation of the FY22 audited financial statements and ensure a smooth transition.

In addition to his appointment to the OPG Board, Ajit Pratap Singh, aged 44, has held the following directorships and/or partnerships in the past five years:

Mr Singh does not hold any ordinary shares in the Company and there are no further disclosures to be made pursuant to Schedule 2 paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules.
