Director's Shareholding Uruguay Mineral Exploration Inc ("the Company") was informed on 19 August 2008that the Company's Chairman, Tony Shearer, purchased 20,000 shares at C$1.50 on19 August 2008. Following his purchase Mr. Shearer has an interest in 563,834Common Shares representing 1.16% of the Company's issued share capital and50,000 options to purchase 50,000 Common Shares at an exercise price of C$ 4.50expiring on 15 September, 2010.
