Result of Meeting of Shareholders

Approval of Acquisition of Ferrum Resources Limited

The Company is pleased to announce that at its Meeting of Shareholders held earlier today, the resolution to approve the acquisition of the entire issued and to be issued shares of Ferrum Resources Limited not already owned by the Company was duly passed. The issue of the Consideration Shares and the Placing Shares is now conditional only on admission of the Enlarged Share Capital to trading on AIM.

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the Existing Ordinary Shares to be re-admitted and the Consideration Shares and the Placing Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and it is expected that Admission will become effective and dealings in the Enlarged Share Capital will commence on 9 January 2012. On Admission, the Enlarged Share Capital will consist of 187,852,392 ordinary shares of no par value in the Company.
