Transaction in Own Shares

The Company announces that on 21 August 2012, pursuant to the general authority granted by shareholders of the Company on 25 July 2012 to make market purchases of its own ordinary shares of 50p each ("Ordinary Shares"), it purchased for cancellation 25,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 235p per Ordinary Share.
Following the purchase and cancellation, the Company's issued share capital now consists of 19,058,724 Ordinary Shares with voting rights.
Therefore, the above figure of 19,058,724 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
