("Omega" or the "Company")
End of Offer Period
On 19 October 2009, in response to a movement in the Company's share price, the Board of Omega announced that it had received a preliminary approach from a third party in relation to a business combination that may have resulted in an offer for the Company.
The Board today announces that discussions have now been terminated and that the third party has acknowledged that it is no longer considering an offer for the Company. Accordingly, the company has ceased to be in an "offer period" for the purposes of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers.
