Our principal operating subsidiary, Wilson Sons Limited announced to the Brazilian and Luxembourg Stock Exchanges the following announcement.

Acquisition of Relevant Participation - Aberdeen Asset Management PLC

Wilson Sons Limited ("Company"), in full compliance with CVM Instruction number 358 dated January 03, 2002, hereby informs that it received a notice from Aberdeen Asset Management PLC ("Aberdeen"), that through the stock exchange operations of its investment funds, reached a position totaling 11,158,176 Brazilian Depositary Receipts ("BDRs") of Wilson Sons Limited. This total now represents a 15.68% interest in the Company. Aberdeen also stated that no other entity that belongs to its economic group has additional participation in the Company.

The total Aberdeen participation in the Company neither modifies the Company's controlling shareholder composition nor its administrative structure. Neither Aberdeen nor any other related entities hold convertible debentures issued by the Company, directly or indirectly. Moreover, there are no agreements or contracts regulating the exercise of voting rights or purchase and sale of securities issued by Wilson Sons Limited in which Aberdeen, directly or indirectly, is a related party.

The Company also informs that, as of the present date, its capital stock comprises 71,144,000 common shares, of which 29,700,000 shares (41.75%) are traded through Brazilian Depository Receipts (BDR´s) on the BM&FBOVESPA.
