NWF Group PLC12 June 2007 Embargoed until: 07.00, 12 June 2007 NWF GROUP PLC APPOINTMENT OF NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE NWF Group plc ("NWF"), the diversified sales and distribution group, announcesthat as of the 1 October 2007, Richard Whiting, 43, will join the Board of NWFand assume the position of Chief Executive Designate. Current Chief ExecutiveGraham Scott will continue in his capacity until 31 October 2007 and then handover to Richard. Richard joins NWF from fully listed Heywood Williams Group plc where he has beenGroup Finance Director since November 2004. Richard joined Heywood Williams in2002 as Business Development Director. Prior to his work at Heywood Williams, Richard held a number of senior roles.From 1988-2002 he was at Novar plc (formerly Caradon plc), working in thebuilding products sector. From 2000-2002 he was Managing Director of the datacomdivision of Brand-Rex Ltd., one of Europe's leading data communication cablingsystems providers.
