Nottingham Building Society ("the Society") appoints Cara Bell as Chief Financial Officer Designate

· Nottingham Building Society has appointed Cara Bell as Chief Financial Officer Designate.

· Cara will assume the role of Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer and SMF2 holder (subject to regulatory approval) when Anthony Murphy leaves the Society in May after over three years in position.

Nottingham Building Society announces the appointment of Cara Bell as Chief Financial Officer Designate from 14th April 2026 as part of the Society's handover transition and to ensure appropriate continuity for members. Cara will assume the role of Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer and SMF2 holder (subject to regulatory approval) following the departure of Anthony Murphy in May 2026.

Cara is an experienced finance leader with more than 20 years of financial services and international executive experience across regulated banking, fintech, asset management and global mid-cap organisations. She is a Fellow of the ICAEW and a PwCtrained Chartered Accountant, recognised for providing clarity, rigour and leadership in complex or transitional environments.

Cara joins the Society following several senior CFO mandates spanning global restructuring, capital strategy, IPO preparation and enterprisewide transformation. Most recently, she served as Group Chief Financial Officer at Iris Worldwide, an international marketing network owned by Cheil Plc (Samsung Group).
