Norseman Gold PLC18 December 2007 NORSEMAN GOLD PLC (the "Company") ISSUE OF OPTIONS As previously anticipated in the readmission document of the Company dated 29March 2007, the Company, on 14 December 2007, granted 1,000,000 options overshares in the Company exercisable from the first anniversary of the date ofgrant at a price of 10 pence per share. These options have been granted to atotal of 2 Norseman Gold Group employees (or, where requested, to personsnominated by them). As announced on 30 August 2007, the Company has previously granted 8,000,000options over shares in the Company exercisable from the first anniversary of thedate of grant at a price of 10 pence per share to a total of 14 Norseman GoldGroup employees (or, where requested, to persons nominated by them). The Company intends in the future to issue options up to a further 1,000,000options to further employees of the Norseman Gold Group (or to persons nominatedby them).
