Appointment of Non-Executive Director
Netcall plc (AIM: NET), a leading provider of intelligent automation and customer engagement software, is pleased to announce the appointment of James Platt to the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective 24 October 2024.
James is a co-founder of Trimstone Partners, a boutique consultancy focused on the insurance, wealth and professional services sectors. He brings extensive experience of operational transformation and technology innovation, especially within the financial and professional services sector. Previously, James served as Group Chief Operating Officer of Aon PLC, where he helped create, then led, Aon Business Services, integrating Aon's fragmented operations and technology functions into a centrally managed service organisation. This provided a foundation for the firm's growth and drove significant cost efficiencies. As CEO of Aon's global digital business, he transformed the approach to the small client segment and drove the acquisition and scaling of CoverWallet, an SMB Insuretech business. Earlier in his career, he led data and analytics and was CEO of Aon's insurer consulting business. He also served on Aon's global executive committee and co-chaired the firm's risk committee.
Before joining Aon, James was a Partner and Managing Director in the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he established BCG's technology and insurance practices in the UK, focusing on large-scale business and technology transformation. He also founded and led BCG's data and analytics practice, collaborating with global clients to develop and execute data strategies.
