PRE-CLOSE TRADING STATEMENT 

FOR THE YEAR ENDING 31 DECEMBER 2008

Norcon plc ("Norcon" or the "Company"), a leading international provider of project management and outsourcing services primarily to the telecommunications industry, is pleased to announce that trading for the year ended 31 December 2008 is in line with the Board's expectations.

The Board is confident that the business will further develop in 2009 yielding continued growth and a healthy dividend as the Company has retained all of its 2008 clients and has good expansion prospects both in the telecom and defence sectors. Furthermore, the Board confirms its intention to pursue strategic partnerships and M&A opportunities. 

The Board expects to recommend a dividend of at least 50% of 2008 net income, which would be payable in the second half of 2009. 

Full year results for the year ended 31 December 2008 will be announced in April 2009 and a further update to shareholders will be given at that time.

Commenting for Norcon, Chief Executive, Arnold Rørholt said: "We are very pleased to have performed according to our budget in 2008 despite the general economic difficulties. It has been a ground breaking year for the Company since going public in July of last year. We are anticipating the continued development of the business and feel confident of our 2009 projections."
