North Atlantic Smaller Companies Investment Trust Limited (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Greville Patrick Charles, The Lord Howard of Rising, as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.

Lord Howard is a member of the House of Lords and a District Councillor for the Borough Council of Kings Lynn & West Norfolk. He is a landowner and farmer with business interests in the playground manufacturing industry. He was formerly a Director of the Keep Trust and Fortress Trust. No other information is required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13R in relation to Lord Howard's appointment as a director of the Company.
