Statement re Share Price Movement

Nanoco Group plc (LSE: NANO), a world leader in the development and manufacture of cadmium-free quantum dots and other nanomaterials, notes the recent significant rise in the Company's share price.

The Company cannot be certain of the reason for this share price rise, however, in line with its strategy which was announced on 31 March 2016 for the commercialisation of its technology in the display sector, Nanoco confirms it remains in active negotiations with a number of parties which may or may not lead to the signing of one or more commercial agreements.
