AGM Statement

Nanoco Group plc (AIM: NANO), a world leader in the development and manufacture of cadmium-free quantum dots and other nanomaterials, will hold its Annual General Meeting later this morning at its head office in Manchester.

Peter Rowley, Nanoco's Chairman, will make the following statement:

"The current financial year has started well, and we are pleased with the momentum across our business.

"As we mentioned in our preliminary results, there has been an acceleration in our business development discussions, which reflects worldwide interest in our cadmium-free quantum dot technology. We look forward to announcing further commercial contracts in due course across our three key applications - LED backlighting of LCD displays, LED general lighting and solar power - and remain confident about the future prospects of the Company."
