As part of the dual-listed companies' structure, Ninety One plc and Ninety One Limited notify both the LSE and the JSE of matters which are required to be disclosed under the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules and Listing Rules of the FCA and/or the Listings Requirements of the JSE.

DIRECTORATE CHANGE

Ninety One plc and Ninety One Limited (together "Ninety One") announce that Fani Titi, non-executive director of Ninety One, will retire at the Annual General Meetings ("AGMs") on 4 August 2021. The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Fani for his contribution and commitment to the success of Ninety One.

Pursuant to the relationship agreement entered into with Investec Limited and Investec plc, Khumo Shuenyane has been selected to succeed Fani as the representative of Investec on the Board of Ninety One. The Board has agreed to this appointment and is pleased to welcome Khumo on to the Board effective 1 August 2021. The appointment is subject to approval by shareholders at the AGMs.

Khumo is a qualified chartered accountant with a background in corporate finance and investment. Khumo has served as an independent non-executive director of Investec Limited and Investec plc since 2014. He also serves on the boards of a number of other companies within the Investec Group, including Investec Bank Limited, Investec Life Limited and Investec Property Fund Limited. Additionally, Khumo is an independent non-executive director of Vodacom Group Limited. 

This announcement has been made pursuant to the UK Listing Rule 9.6.11 and JSE Limited Listing Requirements paragraph 3.59. There is no further information which is to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13.
