Max Petroleum Plc, an oil and gas exploration and production company focused on Kazakhstan, is pleased to announce that it has commenced drilling the UTS-7 appraisal well in the Uytas Field on Block A using Zhanros ZJ-20 rig. The well will be drilled to a total vertical depth of 550 metres targeting Cretaceous and Jurassic reservoirs.
