Gaithersburg, Maryland - 10 September 2020:Â MaxCyte (LSE: MXCT, MXCS), the global cell-based medicines and life sciences company, announces that 1,150,000 options of common stock in the Company ("Options") were granted to Amanda Murphy on 8 September 2020, as part of a pre-agreed arrangement upon Amanda's appointment as the Company's new Chief Finacial Officer. Â

The Options vest ratably on a monthly basis over 48 months, have an exercise period of 10 years from date of grant, at which time they will expire, and have an exercise price equal to the closing price of MaxCyte's stock on 8 September 2020 (being the date of Amanda's appointment), of 330 pence.
