METRO BANK PLCNotification of Transactions of Directors / Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities and Connected Persons

5th April 2016: In accordance with the UK Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules, Metro Bank PLC (the "Company") announces the following changes in the interests of Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMRs") in ordinary shares of £0.0001 each in the share capital of the Company ("Shares"):

On 29th and 30th March 2016, Mr Eugene Lockhart, a Non-Executive Director of the Company sold a total of 10,000 Shares at £18.29 (5,000 Shares) and £18.80 (5,000 Shares) each per Share as part of a personal investment savings plan. Following this transaction, Mr Lockhart's shareholding has decreased to 77,689 Shares, representing 0.09% of the Company's issued share capital.
