Appointment of Director

The Board of Capcon is pleased to welcome Alex Borrelli, aged 53, as a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 29 June 2009. Alex Borrelli is a chartered accountant and senior corporate financier who has specialised in advising companies in the smaller growth company sector for over 20 years with experience across a wide range of corporate transactions for private and quoted companies. He has also been involved with the Company as an adviser for the previous 15 years.

Mr. Borrelli is currently CEO of IAF Capital Limited, an independent corporate advisory business and is also a non-executive director of former AIM clients, Nordic Panorama plc and BNB Recruitment Solutions PLC which was placed in administration in June 2009.

Michael Alexander Borrelli, FCA, initially studied medicine and then qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells, London. He joined Guinness Mahon and subsequently spent five years in corporate finance at Samuel Montagu, mostly seconded to W Greenwell. Following six years at Granville, he joined Shore Capital in 1999 as Head of Corporate Finance and was a director of Shore Capital and Corporate Limited Limited (and of Shore Capital Markets Limited) until late 2008 when he joined IAF Securities Limited in a similar position. In January 2009, he resigned from IAF Securities to lead a management buy-out of its corporate finance business through a newly-acquired company, IAF Capital Limited, a corporate finance advisory firm where he is now CEO. IAF Securities was placed in administration in February 2009.
