Issue of Equity and Total Voting Rights
Motif Bio plc (AIM: MTFB) the clinical stage biopharmaceutical company specialising in developing novel antibiotics announces that it has issued 467,024 new ordinary shares in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") as a result of the exercise of warrants and options.
Application has been made for the 467,024 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"), which is expected to occur at 8.00 a.m. on 28 December 2016. The new Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares. Following Admission, and for the purposes of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the Company's total issued share capital will consist of 181,230,758 Ordinary Shares. Shareholders may use this figure as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the issued share capital of the Company.
