Mothercare PLC15 February 2007 To the London Stock Exchange, Via RNS Re: Holding in Company - Disclosure and Transparency Rules Mothercare plc announces that it has been advised by Fidelity InternationalLimited (FIL) and certain of its subsidiary companies of its voting rights inthe company. Their notifiable interest comprises 6,657,299 ordinary Mothercareplc 50p shares representing 9.08% of the voting rights. In addition, FMR Corp (FMR) have advised the company that they hold a further1,168,393 ordinary Mothercare plc 50p shares representing 1.59% of the votingrights. Prior to the implementation of the EU Transparency Directive, the interests ofFMR and FIL were aggregated for the purposes of shareholder reporting.
