MACAU PROPERTY OPPORTUNITIES FUND LIMITED

CANCELLATION OF SHARE BUY-BACK PROGRAMME

On 25 July 2012, MPO announced the launch of a formal ordinary share buy-back programme (the "Programme"). Under the terms of the Programme, Liberum Capital Limited was appointed to make market purchases of ordinary shares on behalf of the Company whilst the Company was in a close period prior to the release of its annual results.

The release of the Company's annual results on 24 September 2012 ends the need for a close period programme but the Company will continue to buy back shares at attractive levels of discount of share price to net asset value.
