Moss Bros Group PLC25 May 2007 Annual General MeetingTrading Update At the Annual General Meeting this morning, the Chairman of Moss Bros Group Plc,Keith Hamill, will report to Shareholders on current trading and the appointmentof two new non executive directors of the Company. Mr Hamill will say that like for like retail sales for the first 16 weeks of thecurrent year are level against the equivalent period last year whilst hire saleshave remained difficult with the result that total like for like sales are down0.8%. This compares to like for like retail sales 0.9% down and total sales down1.4% after the first 10 weeks of the current year. The preliminary announcement on 11 April 2007, reported that the Board haddecided to appoint two non-executive directors associated with UnityInvestments. The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Don McCarthyand Tony Bogod as non-executive directors of the Company with effect from today.Both Don and Tony bring with them a wealth of business experience and knowledgeof the retail sector. The Company will now look to accelerate the long-termgrowth of the business and focus on generating value for all Shareholders.
