MILLENNIUM & COPTHORNE HOTELS PLC

(THE "COMPANY")

DIRECTOR/PDMR NOTIFICATION

The Company has received notification that Reach Across International Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of City Developments Limited ("CDL"), has acquired 2,750,000 ordinary shares of 30p each in the Company at an average price of 396 pence per share.

Messrs Kwek Leng Beng and Kwek Leng Peck, who are directors of the Company, are also directors of CDL. For the purposes of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, CDL is a connected person of Kwek Leng Beng and Kwek Leng Peck.

The date of the share purchase was 1 December 2011. Notification was received by the Company on 2 December 2011 and was made in accordance with DTR 3.1.2R.

Pursuant to the acquisition, CDL's aggregate interest in the Company's shares amounts to 174,433,158 ordinary shares of 30p each being approximately 54.928% of the Company's issued share capital.
