Board Changes
Geoffrey Miller, Senior Independent Director, to become Non-Executive Chair; Odi Lahav, COO, to join Board
MJ Hudson Group plc ("MJ Hudson", the "Company" or the "Group"), the end-to-end solutions provider to the asset management industry, announces today that Geoffrey Miller, currently the Senior Independent Director, and a Director of the Company since its admission to the AIM market in December 2019, will become Non-Executive Chair from 1 May.
Mr Miller has more than 30 years´ experience of working in financial services, both as a rated equity analyst covering investment banks, asset managers and investment companies, and as a senior fund manager, focussed on financial stocks. Mr Miller was, until recently, the Chair of Globalworth Real Estate Investments, a quoted international property business with a market capitalisation of more than EUR 1 bn. He is a director of several private companies and the founder of a venture capital business based in Guernsey, focussed on disruption within the finance and technology sectors.
Charles Spicer, the current Chair, replaces Mr Miller as the Senior Independent Director and will chair the Remuneration Committee. Following the recent relocation to Jersey of the Company's founder and chief executive, Matthew Hudson, the new Board structure means that both the Non-Executive Chair and the CEO of the Company now reside in the Channel Islands. MJ Hudson Group plc is a Jersey registered company.
In addition, Odi Lahav, the Company's Chief Operating Officer, is appointed to the Board, subject to standard NOMAD due diligence. This reflects the increasing importance of executing the Company's high growth strategy, across multiple business units and geographies.
