28 November 2014 mirada plc ("mirada" or "the Company") New Commercial launch - Telefónica Peru mirada plc, the AIM-quoted audio-visual interaction specialist (AIM: MIRA), isdelighted to announce the successful launch of Telefonica Peru's Movistar Goproduct which features the Iris SDP backend tool. Telefonica Peru is a principal telecom operator in Peru, being a leader on thelocal market with estimated shares of 81% in phone services, 87% in broadbandand 60% in Pay TV. It is 98.5% owned by Telefónica S.A. Movistar Go, with mirada's Iris product, is a digital browser-based OTTplatform which enables consumers to view desired content from any device withthe browser (PC, tablet etc.). Movistar Go includes multiple functionalitiesfrom mirada's Iris solution. These are, amongst others: advanced search enginewhich enables content search through both VoD and linear TV; social TV featurewith content sharing through social media; extended content information throughthe integration with metadata providers; integration with external contentproviders, and more. These services have been selected by Telefónica Peru fromthe modular Iris solution, which also includes other services such aspersonalized recommendations, virtual channels, weekly planner, magazines andmultiscreen platform with apps for smartphones, tablets and other OTT services.
