The Board of mirada plc, the AIM-quoted audiovisual interaction specialist,today announces that it has accepted the resignation of Richard Alden asNon-Executive Chairman from the Board of Directors. Richard, who joined theboard in March 2010 and became Non-Executive Chairman in December 2010, hasrecently been appointed as Chief Operating Officer of Wananchi Group, an EastAfrican telecommunications operator, as well as Vice Chairman of EuskaltelS.A., a Spanish cable operator, and is stepping down with immediate effect fromthe Board as he feels unable to dedicate sufficient time to carry out hisduties as a Director of mirada.

Javier Casanueva has been appointed Non-Executive Chairman of the Board toreplace Richard Alden. Javier has been a member of the Board as a Non-ExecutiveDirector since December 2009 and is a partner of Baring Iberia II Inversion enCapital, F.C.R which currently has an interest in 19.46% of the issued ordinaryshare capital of the Company.
