Mind Gym strengthens leadership team with two senior appointments

Mind Gym is pleased to announce two new appointments to its senior leadership team: David Turnbull joins as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Tara Tapper joins as Chief People Officer (CPO).

David Turnbull is appointed COO, having occupied the role on an interim basis since November 2018. David joins from leadership consulting practice Heidrick & Struggles, where he was COO from 2015. He previously worked at McKinsey & Co for fourteen years, latterly as Global Manager of the firm's Organisation Practice from 2010-2015. He gained extensive operational expertise as a consultant advising companies across multiple industries on organisation design.

Tara Tapper joins Mind Gym having held senior HR leadership roles across a wide range of industries including retail, legal, health, IT, and financial services. Most recently, she successfully led change and transformation programs in the FinTech sector, including at Zopa, HSBC and as Group HR Director of Wonga. Tara also brings significant international experience having spent four years in India, where she established and managed the Human Resources department for the Royal Bank of Scotland's offshore business.
