Transaction in Own Shares
Mercia Asset Management PLC (AIM: MERC), the regionally focused, private capital asset manager with c.£2.0billion of assets under management, announces that it has made the following purchases of Ordinary shares in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") on the London Stock Exchange, pursuant to the Share Buyback Programme announced on 1 July 2025.

The Company intends to cancel the shares. Following the purchase, the number of Ordinary Shares in issue and admitted to trading on AIM will be 425,705,672 (excluding treasury shares), and the Company is holding 11,746,458 Ordinary Shares in treasury.
This figure of 425,705,672 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
The Company will make further announcements in due course following the completion of any further purchases pursuant to the Share Buyback Programme.
