Mears Group PLC13 February 2008 13 February 2008 Mears Group PLC ("Mears Group") New contract wins for Care Division and Social Housing Division Mears Group is pleased to announce further new contract wins by its caredivision, Careforce and by its social housing division. Care Division Careforce has been successful in securing 3 new contracts, 2 of which are inlocations in which they are not currently operating. This demonstrates thegrowing strength and recognition of the Careforce brand which has been built onthe principles of providing high quality services and partnership working. All 3contracts commence in April 2008 and run for 3 years with possible 2 yearextensions. The contracts are for Homecare in Trafford and North Tyneside and for Extra CareSheltered Housing in Nottinghamshire. The 3 contracts combined have annualrevenues of approximately £1.5 million. Social Housing Division Mears Group has been successful in winning a £10 million, 5 year contract withMole Valley Housing Association. The work is for planned maintenance and voidsand can be extended for a further 5 years. Mole Valley Housing Association,based in Surrey, was created in 2007 following a transfer from Mole ValleyDistrict Council and has over 3,800 homes. It is part of the Circle Anglia Groupwhich has over 27,000 properties and is one of the largest housing associationsin the UK.
