Mears Group PLC26 November 2007 MEARS GROUP PLC (the 'Company') November 26th 2007 DIRECTOR'S SHAREHOLDING The Company today received notification that on the 26th November 2007 Mr. RegPomphrett, non-executive director, bought 25,000 ordinary shares of 1p each inthe Company ('Shares'), at a price of 238p per share. Following this purchase Mr. Pomphrett has a total beneficial interest in 175,000 Shares, representing approximately 0.24% of the Company's issued Shares. In addition, Mr. Pomphrett is the executor of the estate of a deceasedshareholder and is therefore deemed to have a non-beneficial interest in 200,000 Shares held by the estate, representing approximately 0.27% of the Company's ordinary shares.
