Option award
On 16 August 2013, David Miles (CEO), Andrew Smith (Finance Director) and Alan Long (Executive Director) were granted options at 1p per share over 203,367, 135,578 and 110,927 ordinary shares of 1p each under the Mears 2013 Share Plan.
The value of the options granted to each Director is equal to 200% of their salary. The number of options granted has been calculated using the closing average share price over the 30 day period prior to 1 January 2013, being 324.5p per share.
The vesting period will be 1st January 2013 to 1st January 2016 and are exercisable between 2016 and 2023.
Following this grant of options, the respective Directors have the following interests in the ordinary shares of Mears:
