Appointment of new auditor from FY24
Mears (LSE: MER), the UK Housing solutions provider, announces its intention to appoint PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP ("PwC") as its auditor for the financial year starting 1 January 2024.
An extensive tender process was overseen by Mears' Audit Committee and recommended the selection of PwC, which has been approved by the Board. Mears' current external auditor will continue in its role and will undertake the audit for the financial year ending 31 December 2023.
The appointment of PwC for the financial year starting from 1 January 2024 will be recommended to shareholders for approval at the 2024 Annual General Meeting.
