Board Changes

McColl's Retail Group plc (the "Group") today announces changes to its Board of Directors. These changes are effective immediately. Following this the Board structure will be fully compliant with the UK Corporate Governance Code.

James Lancaster, currently Chairman and Chief Executive, will become fully focused on his role of Chief Executive while John Coleman, currently Non-Executive Director and Deputy Chairman, will become Non-Executive Chairman.

Martyn Aguss, Chief Operating Officer, has resigned from the Group. Dave Thomas, currently Operations Director and on the Board, will become Chief Operating Officer.

With Jonathan Miller continuing as Chief Financial Officer, the Board has three Executive Directors with 80 years' combined experience within the Group and three independent non-executive Directors.

James Lancaster, Chief Executive, of McColl's Retail Group, commented:

We have a very experienced management team with three Executive Directors on the Board and excellent senior management below Board level.
