Directorate Change - Notification of death of Non-executive Director

It is with deep regret that the Board of Maven Income and Growth VCT 4 PLC announces the passing of its Chairman, Peter Linthwaite, on 17 June 2022 after a prolonged illness.

Peter became a Director of the Company following its merger with Maven Income and Growth VCT 2 PLC on 15 November 2018 and he served as Chairman from 15 May 2019. With over 25 years of private equity experience, Peter was also responsible for the portfolio of private equity fund investments of The Royal London Mutual Insurance Society Limited and was chief executive of the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association from 2005 to 2007.

The Board wishes to record its gratitude for Peter's considerable contribution to the Company during his period in office and offers its sincerest condolences to his wife and family.

Fraser Gray, currently a Non-executive Director, will assume the role of Interim Chairman until decisions have been taken on succession arrangements and any new Board appointments, details of which will be confirmed by the Company in due course.

Bill Nixon, Non-executive Director of the Company and Managing Partner of Maven Capital Partners UK LLP commented "Peter was a thoroughly professional, kind and honourable man, who was also a highly experienced and effective Chairman. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him."
